Prometheus AlphaMed is part of the Prometheus group. This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you.

Prometheus Medical Ltd is the data controller for Prometheus AlphaMed. Prometheus Medical Ltd are responsible in respect of the information collected.

What information do we collect about you?

We collect information about you when you register your interest with us (e.g. request a quotation or information; provide your contact information at conferences etc, place an order for our products or services, or enter into an agreement with us to supply our services.  We also collect information when you voluntarily complete customer feedback.  Website information is collected using cookies.

Contact information when you register your interest with us is held for 30 days.


How information about you will be used

We collect information about you to process your orders, manage your account and, if you agree, to contact you about other products or services that we think may be of interest with you.

If you agree, we may pass on your personal information to our group of companies so that they may offer you their products or services.

Prometheus Medical Ltd will not share your information for marketing purposes with companies outside the Prometheus Group.

In processing your order, we may send your details to, and share information from, credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies.


Security of your personal information

We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.  We will store all the personal information you provide on our secure (password and firewall protected) servers which are located within the European Economic Area (EEA). All electronic transactions you make to or receive from us will be encrypted using SSL technology. 

You are responsible for keeping your password and user details confidential. We will not ask you for your password (except when you log in to the website).

Sending information over the internet is generally not completely secure and we can’t guarantee the security of your data while it’s in transit. Any data you send is at your own risk.

We have procedures and security features in place to keep your data secure once we receive it.



We would like to send you information about products and services of ours and other companies within our Group, which we think may be of interest to you.  If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at any time in the future. 

You have a right, at any time, to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your information to other companies within our Group.

Erasure of data

Please note that all personal information obtained via our website through; registration of interest, placing of an order for our products or services, by entering into an agreement with us to supply services or by voluntarily completing a customer feedback form prior to 25th May 2018 has been erased.
